Blackbird Caye Eco-Dive Resort is one of Belize’s premier offshore dive, snorkel and kayak resorts. Located on Turneffe Atoll, 25 miles off the coast of Belize City, the resort is nestled within 1,300 acres of island forest on a 2-mile long private, white sand beach. The resort boasts 18 individual beachfront, air conditioned cabanas offering a personal, private and relaxing atmosphere.
Renowned for its biodiversity above and below the water, Turneffe Atoll offers something for everyone: world-class scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, beachcombing, and nature walks to observe colorful land birds and seabirds.
Their resort sits on two miles of jungle and beach nestled among hundreds of coconut trees. They offer 18 beachfront cabanas all with air-conditioning, private porches and hammocks, private bathrooms with hot and cold water, daily maid service and free WiFi internet.
Standard Cabanas - Each standard cabana offers two beds (queens or doubles), air-conditioning, ceiling fans, nightstands, closet area, private bath with shower, and private porch with hammock.
Superior Cabanas - Larger than our standard cabanas, the superior cabanas offer a sitting area in addition to the bedroom. The bedroom has either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. In addition to the standard cabana amenities, superior cabanas also offer mini fridge and coffee pot.
Deluxe Cabanas - Our newly constructed deluxe cabanas are our most spacious, boasting a bedroom with a king bed and a separate living room with chairs, loveseat and table making it great for entertaining or relaxing. Additional amenities include mini fridge and coffee pot.
The Triplex offers 3 private rooms each with two beds and features a huge shared front porch. Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, nightstands, closet area, and private bath with shower. The triplex is perfect for families and groups.
The Duplex offers 2 private rooms each with two double beds and a large shared front porch. Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, nightstands, closet area, and private bath with shower.
The dive sites at Blackbird Caye Resort are considered some of the best in the Western Caribbean. The visibility often ranges from 100 to 150 feet. Turneffe Atoll is the only Caribbean Atoll made up of dozens of mangrove islands which are the juvenile nurseries for coral reefs.
